The Tennessee American Legion State Convention is to be held in Nashville Tennessee June 23 to 26, 2011. It will be held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel -, 777 McGavock Pike Hwy. To make reservations call 1-615-885- 2200. Reservations at the "block price" of $99.00 (doubhle occupancy) must be made by May 24, 2011. The cost of the convention is $15.00. This will allow you to attend any session you choose. If you want to go to the Banquet Saturday night the cost will be $39.00. This includes all favors, meals and entertainment that night. There will be several classes to attend. A schedule of classes will be forth-coming.
I have reserved a room for Saturday night. Any Legionaire wishing to share this room with me call Alex Smith, 731-646-2550 or see me at the monthly meeting. I plan to leave early Saturday morning the 25th so if anyone wishes to ride up with me, conatct me.
